And Start Building A List Of Prospects Who Are Interested In What You Have To Offer.

Step 2. A. Set Up A Website

Now that you understand that YOU are your business now you need to find people who want what you have. This is where you need to set up a website and start capturing leads who are interested in getting what you have to offer.

When I was faced with this delema I had a hard time figuring out my identity. Who am I? I realized that I had spent considerable time getting to the place I was and realized that I had knowledge that could help others looking to get where I was. But I was still confused, what was I going to offer? I had to give them something. That's when I began to create this informational website to help others through the process.

I noticed that I was constantly being bombarded by other internet marketers selling me products and services, I also noticed that the same marketers also provided me with very useful information alog the way.

So what I did at first was not worry about what I was actually going to give them I just set up a simple capture page offering prospects a new strategy to run their business.

  • Create a website capture page offering a solution or a new strategy, promoting YOU Inc. 
  • Add a form to that page to start collecting names and email addresses.

Stop selling your product or opportunity, understand that the theme of your business may be different than the product or company.

For example if you are selling a system to make money, re a business opportunity, then stop selling the opportunity and start promoting the fact that you can help people make money.

If you are selling vitamins, then stop selling vitamins, start selling that you can help people feel better or live longer, I think you get my point.

This concept changes the theme of your business, also it expands your business, because now instead of selling one product you can promote many products or opportunities, you just opened up your business.

Now when a prospect comes to your business, after you have created a relationship of trust, you will have the opportunity to offer them many solutions, instead of offering one.

Getting the prospect cost money, or time, if you only have one opportunity then the probability of them purchasing from you will be lower than if you had multiple opportunities or products to offer.

You wouldn't open a store on a street corner and only sell full creame milk would you, no I don't think so, you would also stock the shelves with 2% milk, no fat milk, flavored milk, soda, water, bread, cream cheese, chips, etc...

So why would you start a home business and only have one way to make money? the top producers have multiple ways of making money, first they focus on paying the bills with small sales as they gain trust with the new customer, after they gain trust and more than likely made a little bit of money they will then offer the big opportunity.

If you simply offer every prospect that walks through your door your main opportunity you are doing yourself and your prospect a disservice.

So what's your theme? Only you can answer that.

Instead of selling a money making opportunity, your theme will be, the benefits of being financially in control of your financial future.

Instead of selling vitamins, your theme will be, being healthy and feeling good.

Instead of selling the car, your theme will be, the status of owning that car.

Create a message of what you have to offer then ask people to give you their name and email address.
