Basic Training
Your new to internet marketing. You
have a company product or service and your ready to begin
making money. But where do you begin? Well this all depends on
your experience and skill level.
Most people don't know how to create their own
website, that's okay because when your starting
out it's not necessary at first. One important thing to think
about is YOU need to attract prospects to your opportunity. You
need to understand that prospects are not interested in your
opportunity, if they look around they will find someone else
peddling it, you will just be another sheep in the herd. It's
important that you attract prospects to you not your
opportunity.
Do you understand the passion
concept? What will attract people to
you? What will you do or be to have them sign up with you?
You need to look deep inside and find your passion. What is
your passion? What turns you on? What get' s up some days with
excitement? What is it that is dear to you? When you find this
passion you will attract other people with similar
interests...people just like you.
Do you like fishing? Do you like gardening? Are you a
martial artist? Do you like fitness? Are you a runner? Do you
sing? Communicate your passion to them and invite your new
friends into your world, share with them your passion, give
them tips, offer your knowledge, create a friendship and later
on share with them your business opportunity, but only
after they have become a friend.
This passion concept makes it easier for you to attract
people into your world.
- To begin find your passion
- Communicate it to the world
How do you communicate your passion to the world? Don't
bother with a website yet. Start by creating a profiles on
social networking sites.
What are social networking sites? If you
are currently a user of Myspace, Facebook or Friendster, you
know exactly how social network sites work.
A simple answer would be: social networking sites are web pages
that facilitate for friendly and active interaction among
members. Most social networks are Internet based and aim to
provide various and interesting means on how uses can interact.
Such features may include instant messaging, video calling,
chat, file sharing, discussion groups, voice chats, emails,
blogging and so on.
Hub Pages and Squidoo and similar sites are a
must. You can create web pages about pretty much
any topic, the search engines love these pages and will index
them faster that if you tried to put up your own website at
first. You also earn a share of the advertising and affiliate
revenue generated by the page. The tools seem comparable, and
make creating your page and embedding photos and videos quite
easy.
Squidoo is my favorite, it's an easily built single page
that you can link to blogs, favorite links, RSS feeds, Flickr
photos, Google maps, your eBay auctions, CafePress designs,
Amazon books or music, and much more!
Why should I build a lens? Share your
expertise. Increase your exposure and profile. Direct traffic
to your site. Make money from your Squidoo Lens. So, if you
have a website, blog, charity etc, start a lens right now, it's
absolutley free.
You must create an Opt In Form: You
will need to open an account with an email auto responder such
as AWeber service
so that you can add a form to your mini-sites to capture names
and email addresses, within this account you will create your
email communication with your new prospects.
Create an account on Youtube and communicate your
passion. Youtube is incredibly popular. Add in
other services like Google Video, and you have a genuine
phenomenon. People are marching in droves to the web to watch
video. Why is online video taking off now? Part of the answer
must be because most people have broadband now. I doubt that is
the main cause, though. The search engines love Youtube, your
video will get indexed faster than a webpage and people
are now moving to video as a preffered form of communication.
Post a short video and at the end, embed a link to a page
that has your opt in form.
